Jim Wolf is an American singer-songwriter who was born and raised in the New York City area. Wolf has broadly toured the U.S. and parts of Asia, and is best known for his 2012 single, "Make You My Lady," which has achieved great commercial success in South Korea and has since partnered with K-Pop publisher MusicCube under Peermusic group worldwide, while remaining an independent artist.
Jim Wolf's pop-infused indie style is influenced by a wide range of musical genres, and he brings a distinctive viewpoint to it. His compositions are rife with easily understood themes of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery that strike a chord with listeners on a deep level. The genuineness and vulnerability of Jim Wolf's music allow his listeners to deeply connect with his artistry.
Wolf's music is currently on the TOP100 charts in South Korea and has been there for the last 10 years beating out some of the biggest names in music Ed Sheeran, Adele, Beyonce, and one song currently still sits in the Top100 above many popular songs including "All Too Well" by Taylor Swift.
Wolf's music has been featured in over 100+ television shows (CBS / Sony Pictures, Warner, TBS, KBS, MBN, and on many other networks) as well as in films like You Are My Sunshine.
In America, Wolf's song "Just To Be With You" appeared in the first ever same-sex relationship episode of CBS' The Young And The Restless, in which the song was written into the script and the cast members sang the song to one another when the characters began their relationship.
As a performer, Jim Wolf has shared the stage with an array of amazing performers; Chris Thile, The Alternate Routes, Eric Hutchinson, Ryan Cabrera, Secondhand Serenade, Jason LeVasseur, and Matt Hartke, but during Wolf's early days performing open mics in New York's underground he spent his nights alongside incredible talent like Charley Crockett and Mark Normand (comedian).
Additionally, Jim Wolf showcased for NACA LIVE 2023, in Louisville, KY.
Jim Wolf was a finalist of the 20th Annual IAMA (International Acoustic Music Awards) for the Best Male Artist category with his song “Monster In My Head.”
